Dr. K. Mahadevan is a legendary ophthalmologist with a rich background in medical education and clinical practice. He is a skilled vitreoretinal surgeon and a cataract surgeon. He began his career at Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai and served as a Registrar in Neurosurgery at Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences & Technology in Trivandrum. After joining the Medical Education Service in Kerala, he rose through the ranks to retire as a Professor at the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology and Medical College, Trivandrum.
