Fellowship in Paediatric Optometry
- Diagnose differentials based on history taking
- How to diagnose refractive errors, amblyopia and strabismus
- Become confident in diagnosing and assessing visual conditions in infants , toddlers and school aged children
Eligibility Criteria
Optometrist who completed 4 year degree/2 yrs diploma in optometry for diploma candidates atleast 6 month post course experience is required.
FEE Structure-40000/-(Excluding accommodation and food)
Accommodation –Available (candidates will pay the accommodation charges)
Stipend of Rs.3500/-for last six months.
After completing the Fellowship, they will be absorbed in any one of our hospitals for a period of one / two years as a full time Optometrist with a proper pay package and other perks.
Admission-Students will be selected based on an objective examination and interview which will be based on optometry topics which were covered up to their 6th semester.
The last date of submission of completed application is march 20th
Due to the pandemic the academic session for 2022 will commence from April 2022
Mode of Teaching
Medium of teaching will be EnglishWeekly theory classes and practical hands own training
30% weightage to theory and 70% to practicals Monthly assessment of progress
