The Fellowship in Clinical Optometry is an advanced clinical training program designed to enhance clinical expertise and gain specialized skills in comprehensive eye care. The fellowship emphasizes evidence-based practice, advanced diagnostic techniques, patient management, and interdisciplinary collaboration with ophthalmologists. The program provides intensive hands-on clinical training in comprehensive eye examinations, advanced refraction, binocular vision assessment, contact lens practice, ocular disease evaluation, low vision rehabilitation, pediatric optometry, glaucoma screening, retinal assessment, and pre- and post-operative care. Fellows are trained in the use of advanced ophthalmic diagnostic instruments and are encouraged to participate in case discussions, clinical audits, seminars, and research activities.
