Oculoplasty
The department specializes in the diagnosis and management of eyelid, lacrimal, and orbital conditions. It treats a range of disorders including abnormalities of the nasolacrimal duct, ptosis, entropion, ectropion, trichiasis, distichiasis, and eyelid tumours. It also addresses complex orbital issues such as pterygium, thyroid-related eye diseases, orbital infections, and anophthalmic or contracted sockets.
Additionally, this department also provides customized ocular prostheses and artificial eye shells for patients who have lost an eye.

PROCEDURES
Advanced Surgical Solutions for Better Eye Health
Blepharoplasty
Cosmetic or reconstructive surgery to remove excess skin or fat from the eyelids, improving both appearance and function.
Ptosis Repair
Surgical correction of ptosis (drooping eyelids) by tightening or reattaching the levator muscle to restore normal eyelid height.
Ectropion & Entropion
Surgical correction of ectropion, a condition where the eyelid turns outward, to restore proper eyelid positioning and prevent dryness or irritation.
Dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR) with no scarring
Surgical procedure to create a new drainage pathway for tears from the lacrimal sac into the nasal cavity, used to treat blocked tear ducts.
Canthal Resection, Canthectomy, Canthoplasty
Removal of a portion of the canthal area (corner of the eye) to address eyelid malposition or reconstructive needs.
